The ancient medical texts, spanning thousands of years, described several curious points (often referred to as extra points) – acupuncture points not on the acupuncture meridians that treat a vast array of health conditions. The specialty which the ancient medical texts affords the most curious points is psychiatry. This 1-hour webinar will offer advanced acupuncture techniques, including many curious points, along with their psychiatric indications. You will gain more tools in your toolbox to enhance patient treatments outcomes, particularly in psychiatry.

Susie Hayes, MS, LAc
Susie is Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture through the NCCAOM; she has served as Adjunct Faculty at Bastyr University, and she teaches acupuncture to professionals through internationally accredited programs since 2004 on topics spanning pain, women’s health, mental health, and medical qi gong. She is founder and owner of Energetic Medicine PLLC in Seattle Washington, where she treats patients in her private practice.
Susie Hayes is in her 23rd year as a dedicated clinician, teacher, and educator in the field of Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine. Since earning her Masters of Science in Acupuncture from Bastyr University in 1998, Susie has continued to obtain high quality education in her field as an avid student of Tran Viet Dzung, MD, translator and educator of the ancient medical texts in collaboration with Nguyen Van Nghi, MD. This teaching fuses a unique synthesis of the ancient medical texts with the understanding of scientific modern medicine providing an integrative proven approach to address patients’ individual and often complex conditions.

The American Academy of Medical Acupuncture is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).
